Solar EV Charging Packaging
Creating retail packaging for a Solar EV Charging membership, linking physical product with digital onboarding.
To support the launch of a new Solar EV Charging membership product, I designed the visual identity and packaging concepts for the physical boxes distributed through solar panel installers. The goal was to create a retail-ready design that reflected ev.energy’s brand while linking seamlessly into the digital onboarding journey.
I worked cross-functionally with product design colleagues, developing multiple packaging concepts that balanced brand clarity with practical requirements for fulfilment. The visual design needed to be clear, trustworthy, and scalable across membership tiers, while still feeling aligned with our wider brand presence.
Each package connected directly to a digital journey: customers used unique product codes inside the box to activate their membership in the app. This required coordination to ensure the physical and digital experiences remained consistent.
The outcome was a professional, on-brand package that solar distributors could confidently offer to customers. It gave ev.energy a tangible product presence for the first time, strengthening brand recognition and helping bridge the gap between renewable energy providers and EV drivers.
